There is no need in changing the Election Code of the Country, MP Mubariz Gurbanli, Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling party Yeni Azerbaijan (New Azerbaijan) told, answering a journalist's question concerning the possible changing of the Election Code of the Country, Trend reports.
Mr. Gurbanli also pointed out that the document justified hopes. Moreover, during its adopting, the document gained an expert conclusion of the corresponding bodies of the Council of Europe and OSCE. If these or those proposals concerning the Election Code are put forward in the future, they should be certainly discussed. However, there is no need in cardinal changing, pointed out Mr. Gurbanli.
Mr. Gurbanli pointed out that he speaks on behalf of the ruling party. He pointed out that he can tell nothing concerning the position of the Azerbaijan Government in this issue.
