Azerbaijan Asked for General Grant of Jayka

The mission of the Japanese Agency for International Co-operation will stay in Azerbaijan till November 22. The primary goal of the visit is to study the condition of the emergency stations in the country and the necessity of providing them with new equipments, Trend reports with reference to the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani Government forwarded an application to Jayka for presenting a grant to provide the emergency stations with necessary techniques and equipments. The Agency sent their experts to assess the amount of the required assistance. They intend to get familiarized with the condition of the all emergency policlincs. As a result of the visit, a protocol on measures will be prepared, which will be signed with the Health Ministry of Azerbaijan. The Government intends to obtain the general grant of Jayka, which is provided every two year. The technical assistance amounts to $5 mln.

Such kind of the assistance has already been received for supplying necessary equipments to the maternity hospital, State Melioration and Water Economy Committee and State Company Azerautoroad.
