Azerbaijan Tariff Council Receives New Proposals on Regulation of Tariffs for Different Services

The Tariff Council of Azerbaijan has received new proposals on change of tariffs for different types of services, Trend reports. Heydar Babayev, the Azerbaijan Minister for Economic Development, also the Chairman of the Council, said that the proposals concern the telecommunications, transport and other sectors.

The Tariff Council regularly meets and the next resolution might concern regulation of tariffs for different services. The proposals can be provided from different bodies. The Council is corporative body and its resolution is very important, the Minister said.

The last resolution by the Tariff Council touched upon rise in prices of energy resources, tariffs for communal services, police services, the State Committee for Lands and Cartography, passenger transportation.
