Azerbaijan, Baku / corr / corr / corr / corr Trend Trend U.Ismayilova / Riad Gasimov , the Deputy Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC), announced that the construction of a new edible salt in Masazir village will commence at the end of 2007.
Gasimov noted that the residents of Masazir village will also be attracted to work at the factory.
Part of the factory's stock is held by the AIC. "UNICEF performed the analysis of the Masazir salt and discovered that it was of high quality. Further it is planned to export salt to other countries," he added.
The construction of the salt factory will cost €6mln for Azersun Holding. The work concerning the treatment of sewerage flow in the territory attached to the lake will be complete shortly.
The Turkish company Inova is expected to get involved in the construction of the factory, while the equipment and technology line will be supplied from Germany.
