Azerbaijani Juice Producers Alliance Publishes Its Two-Year Action Plan
Azerbaijani, Baku / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / on 7 September The Azerbaijani Export and Investment Promotion (AZPROMO) and the German Technical Cooperation Society (GTC) publicized an action plan of the Alliance of Juice Producers and Exporters in 2007-2008. Major items in the action plan are as follows:
-development of main data, collection of data on producers and products, visit to enterprises;
-organizations of meeting with producers and information on importance of establishment of an alliance, signing of acts on joining to the alliance;
-registration of alliance as a commercial or non-commercial organization;
-monthly informing of members at the alliance about the implementation of work;
-organization of training for personnel and meetings with members of the alliance (no les than once a year);
-organization of exhibitions no less than twice a year and publication of catalogues;
-attraction of local and foreign experts;
-conduct of monitoring and inquiries at local market;
-assistance in selection of personnel and search of potential clients;
-submission of a quartile report to tax, statistic and other;
-development of a national brand and label and their legal protection.
The main purpose of the alliance established in July 2007 is to resolve the problems which have existed in the juice industry for a long time, technology standards being one of them.
The alliance was originally formed by six leading companies (Milk-PRO, Gilan, SAF etc.), but now there are 7 members on the list.
