Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 June / Trend / "As a result of using personal pre-payment meters of new generation, electric power consumption in Ganja (365km west of Baku) dropped," Azerenerji OJSC reported on 23 June. In January, the figure totalled 56%, in February 51%, in March 37% in April 25%.
In May, Ganja consumed about 33mln KWt/hour of electric power, 7.7mln KWt (23%) went to population.
Total payment for consumed electric power in May totalled 75% and 100% from household consumers.
In January, total payment comprised 40%, in February 53%, in March 75%, in April 72%.
