The U.S consultative company Gustafson Associates submitted a project of the first stage to create underground gas-holder in Georgia. The project comprises detailed development program of gas-holder project and complex of technical tasks for preliminary study, the Fund of Millennium realizing the project Rehabilitation of energy infrastructure" said.
The representative of U.S company being on visit in Tbilisi early in February familiarized Georgia's Minister of Energy, representatives of the Millennium Fund and Georgia's Oil and Gas corporation with results of undertaken work.
Upon the company's report, the Ministry of Energy will choose the most optimal variant from three fields in the territory of Georgia to create gas-holder. The decision is supposedly to be made by April.
Total budget of the project makes up $62.5 million.
