Azerbaijan, Baku, August 26 / Trend , A.Badalova /

The International Energy Agency (IEA) expects the growth of oil supplies from former Soviet states from 2.97 million barrels per day in 2009 to 3.31 million barrels per day in 2010. The growth of supply by Azerbaijan will be 260,000 barrels per day, Kazakhstan - 85,000 barrels per day, IEA August report published on Agency's official website said.

Indicators of Turkmenistan's oil production for the first quarter have resulted in increasing the forecasts of country's supply by 10,000 barrels per day in 2009 and 2010, the IEA report says.

The total oil supply by non-OPEC countries in 2009 will amount to 51 million barrels per day, and in 2010 the oil supply of countries will increase by 440,000 barrels up to 51.4 million barrels per day, IEA said.

The IEA estimates that global oil supplies rose by 570,000 barrels per day in July up to 85.1 million barrels per day. Of the total deliveries for this period, two-thirds falls on non-OPEC countries. Compared with July 2008, global oil supplies fell by 2.6 million barrels per day, which is mainly due to cuts in OPEC production quotas.

According to IEA estimations, OPEC's oil production in July declined by 100,000 barrels up to 28.64 million barrels per day. Oil production of cartel's 11 members, excluding Iraq, fell by 120,000 barrels up to 26.12 million barrels per day, which is 1.28 million barrels per day higher than the quota.
