Petrol prices: Euro-Super-95 in 27 EU countries (Feb.22-March 1)

The average price on Euro-Super 95 petrol hit 1,274 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (Feb.22- March1). Statistics on petrol prices is posted on the European Commission's website.

The highest price was observed in the Netherlands- 1,467 euro per 1,000 liters, with a $4-increase from the previous week.

The lowest price was 960 euro per 951 liters in Cyprus, or one euro less than a week earlier.

Denmark took second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,412 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,414 euro the previous week.

The price increased by 19 euro and was 1,366 euro per 1,000 liters in Belgium last week.

Finland took fourth place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price hit 1,343 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,349 euro the previous week

Germany took fifth place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro-Super 95. The price was 1,338 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,311 euro the previous week

The price was 1,336 euro per 1,000 liters or 17 euro more in Portugal last week.

France took seventh place for most expensive petrol. The price hit 1,334 euro per 1,000 liters or 31 euro more from the previous week.

Italy took eights place. The price hit 1,333 euro per 1,000 liters last week or 22 euro more than last week. 

The price was 1,308 euro per 1,000 liters in Sweden last week or 6 euro per 1,000 liters more than a week earlier.

Greece took tenth place in the list of EU countries last week. The price was 1,272 euro per 1,000 liters or 20 euro per 1,000 liters more than a week earlier.
