Azerbaijan demonstrates tremendous interests towards export of its gas to the European market, Natik Abbasov, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister for Industry and Energy, said on Wednesday.

In this sense existence of long-term and sustainable markets is of paramount importance for the country so that Azerbaijan could sell its energy resources with confidence.

Azerbaijani gas supplies through the Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline, which of Switzerland's interest, are under particular consideration. Azerbaijan is also considering the Turkey-Greece-Italy and Nabucco gas pipelines.

Active work is done as part of project on Azerbaijan liquefied gas exports to Romania via Georgia and the issue will soon be solved.
