BP company will continue to successfully implement its own commitments in Azerbaijan and cooperate with the government and SOCAR, BP head Tony Hayward said at a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a press-release said.
BP head once again noted the importance of oil and gas projects "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" and Shah Deniz, as well as Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipelines and South Caucasus gas pipeline for Azerbaijan, the region and the global energy market.
Hayward stressed the importance of exploration in the Caspian Sea for energy future of the region.
BP head said that the project of a full development of the field Shah Deniz is one of the most important for BP. The company as the project operator will implement it rapidly.
