Uzbekistan reduces liquid hydrocarbon production by 1.3 percent in Jan.-June

Uzbekistan reduced liquid hydrocarbon production by 1.3 percent up to 1.87 million tons in January-June compared to 2010, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.

In particular, gas condensate production fell by 8.5 percent - up to 897,800 tons, oil - by 5.5 percent to 972,300 tons.

Natural gas production fell by 4.1 percent - to 32.31 billion cubic meters.

Gasoline production has increased by 1.1 percent up to 689,400 tons. Kerosene production reduced by 4.2 percent up to 174,200 tons, diesel fuel - by 5.9 percent up to 553,400 tons, furnace fuel oil - by 24.6 percent up to 139,700 tons, liquefied hydrocarbon gas - by 2.3 percent, up to 103,500 tons, bitumen - by 21.4 percent up to 77,700 tons since early 2011.

Uzbekneftegaz was established in 1998, and comprises six joint stock companies.

In 2010, liquid hydrocarbon production in Uzbekistan decreased by 17.9 percent compared to 2009 up to 3.662 million tons, gas condensate by 22.5 percent up to 1.644 million tons, oil - by 13.5 percent up to 2.018 million tons.

Natural gas production reduced by 2.1 percent - up to 60.112 billion cubic meters.
