The price of Uzbekistan's gas to Kyrgyzstan will be $290 per 1,000 cubic meters and Kazakhstan's gas - $224 per 1,000 cubic meters, KyrTAG quotes Aygul Sultanova, Kyrgyzstan's Energy Ministry's representative as saying.
She said Kyrgyzstan came to an agreement with Uzbek and Kazakh side on the gas supplies to the country. Kyrgyzstan is expected to determine the consumer price for gas soon, Sultanova added.
She said even if the gas price increases the rise will not be significant.
Kyrgyz and Uzbek companies Kyrgyzgaz and Uztransgaz signed a contract on Dec.31 on the supply of 100 million cubic meters of gas to Kyrgyzstan.
