The Energy Corporation of Georgia (ECG) will purchase natural gas extracted from the Ninotsminda field (South Georgia) by the Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia, Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia told Trend.
The ECG, which won the tender, will purchase oil at a price of $240 per 1,000 cubic meters.
The Oil and Gas Corporation announced a second auction for available gas at 2 million cubic meters on Jan.21, 2012.
An agreement with the company - winner of the auction, will be signed in the coming days.
