As of May 24, the daily volume of gas supplied to Azerbaijani population is 5.4 million cubic meters compared to 7.5 million cubic meters as of April 26, SOCAR's Azerigas production association told Trend on Thursday.
About 3.4 million cubic meters of the total volume of gas supplied to the population every day falls to Baku.
"The daily gas supply to the population in other regions reaches two million cubic meters," the production association said. "With improved weather conditions, gas consumption among the population is reduced as the weather conditions improve."
The supplied gas volumes are determined by demand and fully satisfy the needs of consumers, Azerigaz said. It deals with the transportation and sale of gas in Azerbaijan.
