Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR increased the number of its filling stations in Romania to 34, said the company in a message June 6.
SOCAR commissioned a filling station under its brand name in Romanian city of Pitesti.
Currently, the company operates filling stations in 17 regions of Romania.
SOCAR is the sole producer of oil products in Azerbaijan. It has filling stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania and Switzerland.
The company exported 1.23 million tons of oil products in 2015, as compared to 1.2 million tons in 2014.
