In January-May 2017, more than 2.7 million tons of oil was delivered to oil refineries in the Turkmen cities of Turkmenbashi and Seydi, the Turkmen Dovlet Habarlary state news agency reported.
About 842,000 tons of gasoline of all brands, nearly 835,000 tons of diesel fuel and 67,400 tons of liquefied gas were produced during the period.
“Gasoline A-95 in the amount of 326,300 tons was sent abroad and to domestic market. This is 24,300 tons more than in the same period of 2016,” reads the report.
About 207,000 tons of kerosene was shipped during the reporting period, more than 136,000 tons of which accounted for export cargo.
About 10 million tons of oil is annually produced in Turkmenistan.
