SOCAR reveals volume of aviation fuel supplies to Ukraine

SOCAR Energy Ukraine (a subsidiary of Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR in Ukraine) imported 18,800 tons of aviation fuel to Ukraine in January-October 2017, a source in SOCAR told Trend Nov. 24.

The source said that 10,400 tons out of the imported aviation fuel volume accounted for Azerbaijan’s share.

“This accounts for four percent of the total volume of aviation fuel imported by Ukraine. The remaining 8,400 tons accounted for the share of other countries. In total, SOCAR accounted for seven percent of Ukraine’s market of aviation fuel import in January-October 2017,” noted the source.

SOCAR delivered 21,600 tons of aviation fuel to Ukraine in 2016.

In 2016, SOCAR increased independent fuel supplies to Ukraine by seven percent as compared to 2015.

In total, the structure of the Azerbaijani company delivered 136,000 tons of fuel, which is by seven percent more than in 2015.
