The government of Uzbekistan plans to increase the cost of gas, electricity and gasoline from Nov. 16, Uzbek media reported referring to the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
Reportedly, the government plans to raise prices in two stages. The first increase will be carried out on Nov. 16, 2018, the second - on June 1, 2019.
As a result, the price of gas from will increase to 320 soums per cubic meter Nov. 16, 2018, and to 350 soums from June 1, 2019.
In turn, electricity prices will increase to 250 soums per kilowatt from Nov. 16, 2018, and to 280 soums from June 1, 2019.
The retail price of 1 liter AI 80 gasoline will be 4,000 soums (now - 3,800), AI 91 - 4,500 soums (4,300), diesel fuel - 4,800 soums, eco-diesel fuel - 4,900 soums.
