Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting in Tehran on Wednesday, Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh pointed to the government's plan to revive the fuel card system, and said this plan will not led to fuel quota or price change.

Zanganeh announced the deadline to register in order to issue a fuel card for them.

"The re-issuance of fuel cards will not lead to increase of prices," said the minister. “We just want to stop smuggling".

Zanganeh also said that the internal gasoline production is enough for domestic consumption.
