Uzbekneftegaz expects the opening of new fields of natural gas, oil and condensate in 2019, Trend reports with reference to the company.
The company states that this year it is planned to build 85 exploratory wells with the introduction of drilling 15 new areas.
It is specified that the search for deposits will be conducted in the Ustyurt and Bukhara-Khiva regions.
Uzbekneftegaz noted that 11 new fields have been discovered in the country over the past two years, with an increase in hydrocarbon reserves.
Currently, the extraction of hydrocarbon raw materials by enterprises and organizations of Uzbekneftegaz JSC is conducted at 154 fields.
In 2019, it is planned to complete the construction of 146 production wells, overhaul 159 wells and complete the construction of seven major technological facilities.
