The total tax payments of Russian LUKOIL company to the budget of Azerbaijan stood at around $58 million during the period of operation of LUKOIL Azerbaijan in the country, the company told Trend.
“Investments amounted to around $ 7.9 million. The company has implemented projects for the technical re-equipment of 10 own gas stations. The average daily sales per filling station from 2012 to 2018 increased from 14 to 24 tons per day,” said LUKOIL.
The company said that today, the average number of LUKOIL personnel in the sales segment is 460 people, of whom more than 90 percent are Azerbaijani citizens.
The personnel outsourcing is 84 people, all of whom are local citizens, said LUKOIL.
LUKOIL has been operating in the oil and gas sector of Azerbaijan since 1994. The company has a 10 percent stake in the Shah Deniz and South Caucasus Pipeline projects.
