Uzbekistan receives flowrate of 1M cm of gas a day at Kuyi Surgil field

ERIELL Group international oilfield services drilled well No. 15 at the Kuyi Surgil field in Uzbekistan, and received a flow rate of 1 million cubic meters of gas per day, Trend reports citing Uzbekistan's Ministry of Energy press service.

The drilling was carried out jointly with Uzbekistan’s Uzbekneftegaz oil and gas company.

The bottom hole is 3716 m, reaching the depth of the Lower Jurassic deposits.

Drilling at the Kuyi Surgil field in the Muinak district of Uzbekistan’s Karakalpakstan region was carried out as part of the implementation of the Program to increase hydrocarbon production for 2017-2021.

Currently, work is underway to test and develop the well, as a result of which the daily production rate will be clarified, reads the message
