BAKU, Azerbaijan, Jan. 9

By Elnur Baghishov - Trend:

The daily sale of one million barrels of oil envisaged in the budget for the next Iranian year (from March 21, 2020 through March 21, 2021) is a real figure, Bahruz Nemati, member of the Iranian parliament’s energy commission, said.

“Iran managed to maintain sale of its oil this Iranian year (began on March 21, 2019) despite all US sanctions,” the MP added, Trend reports referring to the Iranian parliament’s website.

“As a result of the solidarity of the government and the parliament, oil will be further sold in the envisaged volume,” Nemati said.

The Iranian MP added that all revenues, including income obtained from the sale of oil, gas and petrochemical products, are transparent in the Iranian budget.

On March 8, 2019, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani submitted the Iranian draft state budget for the next Iranian year in the amount of 4.8 quadrillion rials (about $115 billion).

Iran’s total revenues shall reach 19.8 quadrillion rials (about $473 billion) next Iranian year. The budget envisages the daily sale of oil in the volume of one million barrels. Revenues from oil and gas export are set at $22.2 billion, $18.2 billion of which accounted for oil export, while $4 billion - for gas export.
