TEHRAN, Iran, Jan.29

Trend:

The Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) has signed an agreement with Vice Presidency for Science and Technology to support domestic production and knowledge based companies and startups, said PGPIC spokesman.

"The agreement will help skilled force and youth to find employment in production via startups and knowledge based companies," said Javad Goli, Trend reported citing IRNA.

"The Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and its subsidiaries will consult with these companies about supplying overhaul, maintenance and engineering works during upcoming petrochemical exhibit in Kish," the spokesman added.

"Furthermore, subsidiary companies of PGPIC will negotiate knowledge based companies especially those operating in regions over technical, industrial and engineering," Javad Goli said.

"In recent years, petrochemical industry of Iran has tried to benefit from domestic capacities in production of spare parts, equipment and materials and work more actively with domestic experts," he said.
