Increasing oil production is in the spotlight at Arvandan Oil and Gas Company, located the Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran, said Managing Director of the company Jahangir Pourhang, Trend reports citing the company website.
According to Pourhang, during the operations, safety regulations and environmental issues should be taken into consideration.
Pourhang added that specific plans and cooperation are required for timely implementation of maintenance programs to keep the oil and gas production by the company.
The production of Darkhovin, South Azadegan and Joffeir oil fields was reviewed at the meeting and appropriate solutions were proposed to maintain production in the coming year (starting March 21, 2020).
At the same time, issues related to the current production plan, drilling new wells, repairing existing wells, conducting maintenance services, wells operations were discussed and appropriate decisions were made.
Arvandan Oil and Gas Company, which operates under the Iranian National Petroleum Company, can produce 640,000 barrels of oil from wells controlled by the company and 7.64 million cubic meters (270 million cubic feet) of gas per day.
