Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas National Company (KMG) has developed an anti-crisis strategy till the end of 2021 in order to implement long-term company’s plans, KMG representative told Trend.
“Currently, KMG is working to transform the operating model, as a result of which the company should become more flexible in management, able to respond quickly and make effective decisions to overcome the crisis effects with minimal losses for the business,” the official said.
The official also said that the entirety of the management efforts over the course from 2020 through 2021 will be aimed at solving two main problems.
Thus, one of them is to adapt the KMG's activities to new market conditions and reduce the negative factors impact on the financial state of the company to the maximum, while maintaining a flexible production and personnel potential.
The second goal of KMG’s management is to accumulate resources, technologies and competencies which KMG will have as a base after the crisis comes to an end.
At the same time, the official said, the main priority for KMG is to preserve jobs of company’s production personnel.
KazMunayGas National Company is Kazakhstan's national operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons, representing the state in Kazakhstan's petroleum sector.
