Azerbaijan exported over 5.5 billion cubic meters of gas from January through May 2020, which is by 11.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports referring to the statistics report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee on June 17.
Gas worth around $1.03 billion was exported from January through May 2020, which is by 18.3 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
From January through May 2020, Azerbaijan’s export of natural gas amounted to 14.89 percent of the country’s total export.
Some 12.5 billion cubic meters of gas were exported from Azerbaijan while the value in monetary terms reached almost $2.4 billion in 2019.
