Uzbekneftegaz JSC starts construction of a new low-pressure booster compressor station with a capacity of 16 MW at Zevarda field of Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, Trend reports citing Uzbekneftegaz press service.
Currently, Uzbekneftegaz JSC produces natural gas is from 79 wells in Zevarda field and is engaged in drilling one new well.
To date, 1.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 27,700 tons of gas condensate have been produced from the field. Two wells have been drilled and commissioned, and 13.5 million cubic meters of natural gas and 321,000 tons of gas condensate are additionally produced from these wells.
The company plans to produce additional 2.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 51,000 tons of gas condensate from Zevalda field, by the end of 2020.
Also, the company plans to drill and commission three wells in the second half of 2020, and produce additional 26.6 million cubic meters of natural gas and 381,000 tons of gas condensate.
Moreover, the company expects that 12 wells will be repaired and an additional 27.9 million cubic meters of natural gas and 322,000 tons of gas condensate will be produced from the repaired wells.
Uzbekneftegaz is a state-owned holding company and the largest state company in Uzbekistan. The company ranks 11th in the world's natural gas production.
