Azerbaijan exported more than 12.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2020, which is by 0.8 percent less than in 2019, Trend reports with reference to the statistics report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
In accordance with the data, during the reporting period, the volume of exported natural gas reached about $2.2 billion in total terms (an increase of 7.2 percent compared to 2019).
Natural gas export for 2020 amounted to 15.94 percent of the country's total export for this period.
The volume of exported natural gas amounted to 12.53 billion cubic meters, in total terms - almost $2.3 billion in 2019.
