Around 1.35 billion manat ($794 million) was invested in the oil and gas sector of Azerbaijan from January through March 2021, which is 6.2 percent less compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing a report of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.

In 2020, Azerbaijan invested 5.9 billion manat ($3.47 billion) in the oil and gas sector, which is 9.2 percent more compared to 2019.
