Azerbaijan had exported 733.86 million cubic meters of natural gas to Italy from January through April 2021, Trend reports referring to the report of Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
According to the committee, the value of Azerbaijani gas exports from Azerbaijan to Italy over the reporting period amounted to $150.78 million.
From January through April of this year, Azerbaijan has exported more than 7.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 79.5 percent more compared to the same period of last year. The value of exported natural gas exceeded $1.1 billion.
The import of Italian products to Azerbaijan in 2020 increased by 7.3 percent compared to 2019. The export of Azerbaijani products to Italy last year amounted to $4.17 billion, which is 25 percent less than in the previous year. Last year, the foreign trade operations of Azerbaijan and Italy amounted to $4.56 billion, which is 24 percent less on annual basis.
