Turkmenistan’s Seydi Oil Refinery exceeds gasoline production plan

The growth rate in gasoline production at the Seydi Oil Refinery in Turkmenistan from January through July amounted to 58.9 percent compared to the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to Nebit-Gaz electronic newspaper.

According to the information, the plant also showed steady growth in the production of other types of products, such as diesel fuel, heavy vacuum gas oil, road bitumen.

It is reported that for seven months, the production of gasoline of various brands amounted to about 135,200 tons, diesel fuel – 77,600 tons, more than 22,800 tons of heavy vacuum gas oil, 19,500 tons of road bitumen.

Thus, during the reporting period, the enterprise exceeded its production plans for most items in the product line.

It is noted that the products of the Seydi Oil Refinery are in great demand both in the domestic and foreign markets.

The Seydi oil refinery is located in the Lebap region, on the left bank of the Amu Darya river, in the city of Seydi, Danevsky district. The plant consists of three main technological facilities, as well as auxiliary sections for these facilities. The main products of the enterprise are liquefied gas, gas condensate, light oil products. Its capacity allows processing six million tons of oil per year.

In 2015, a unit for the production of road bitumen with an annual capacity of 37,200 tons was built in the structure of the plant.

In 2017, the refinery also launched a catalytic reforming unit with an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of high-octane gasoline.
