Well #7, with a deep productive formations, is currently being drilled in the eastern part of the Uzynada field, which is located in the Esenguly district of the Balkan region of Turkmenistan, Trend reports via Turkmen media.
Scientists at the Nebitgazylmytaslama research institute under the Turkmenneft state concern are engaged in the design, scientific development of fields, the introduction of the latest scientific and technological achievements, and rationalization proposals into production.
An abundant commercial gas inflow was obtained last September, during the drilling of well #14 with a design depth of 6,860 meters. According to preliminary estimates, the well's daily productivity accounts for 120,000 cubic meters of natural gas and more than 105 tons of oil condensate.
The development of deposits in the Uzynada field, containing about 5 million tons of oil, is expected to provide an additional increase in oil and gas condensate production.
An energy-rich Central Asian country, ranks among the world's top countries in terms of natural oil and gas reserves. Its gas reserves have increased by 126 billion cubic meters as a result of industrial development of recently discovered gas fields.
Turkmenistan pays great attention to the creation of oil and gas processing plants, as well as the export of energy resources to global markets.
Recently Turkmenistan has allocated more than 138 million to increase its oil and natural gas production.
In the first month of 2021, Turkmenistan exceeded its natural gas production target by 5 percent. The country exceeded its oil production target by 0.4 percent during the reporting period, while increasing processing by 8.3 percent.
