BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 13. Kazakhstan will research the issue of building a nuclear power plant until the end of the year, Kazakh Energy Minister Bolat Aqchulaqov said, Trend reports citing Kazakh media.
Ministry of Energy is considering favorable climatic, geological conditions, various technologies. Aqchulaqov assures that only the safest and most proven ones will be used.
“Russian technologies are probably considered most advanced in terms of reactor working hours, and in terms of experience and safety standards, like French and the US reactors,” he noted.
“There are very good solutions in this case in South Korea. China is also developing very strongly in this regard,” Aqchulaqov said head at the forum of machine builders.
