Iran and China agree on oil trade

TEHRAN, Iran, October 4. Iran has made an agreement with China to export oil, said the Minister of Economic Affair and Finance Ehsan Khandouzi, Trend reports citing Fars News Agency.

There have been agreements between China and Iran about oil sales and if it is realized, the government will provide a report on its performance, he said.

The minister has referred to the 25-year cooperation agreement between the two countries adding that Iran would expand its relations with China.

The Iranian and Chinese officials have stressed the implementation of the agreement, Khandouzi pointed out.

According to the minister, Iran’s economic growth was 3.8 percent in the first half of the current Iranian year(started March 21, 2022) while the impact of oil and non-oil export revenue on economic growth economic was estimated at 4.3 percent and the Producer Price Index (PPI) reduced from 73 percent to 49 percent.
