TEHRAN, Iran, October 17. Iran has launched its first overseas refinery, El Palito, in Venezuela, said Iran's Minister of Oil Javad Owji, Trend reports citing IRNA.
The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company efforts have led to launching of refineries overseas, he said, adding that after building the refinery in Venezuela, construction of other refineries in other countries will be pursued.
According to the minister, El Palito has the refining capacity of 100,000 barrels of crude oil per day produced by Venezuela.
