ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, July 27. Entrepreneurs from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased gasoline from Turkmen production at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
According to official data, businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased 12,300 tons of gasoline on the exchange. The total amount of the transactions was $8.6 million.
At the same time, according to the exchange, other entrepreneurs from Afghanistan purchased 1,300 tons of gasoline worth $951,200.
Turkmenistan is positioned among the top nations globally in regards to its vast oil and gas reserves. The nation places significant focus on the establishment of oil and gas processing facilities and actively participates in exporting its valuable energy resources to various international markets.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was founded on July 29, 1994, and serves as the primary governmental entity responsible for regulating export-import operations.
