ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 18. Azerbaijan bought 10,491 tons of fuel for jet engines from Turkmenistan from January through July 2023, Trend reports.
The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reports that the price of fuel for jet engine imports from Turkmenistan exceeded $4.34 million.
Azerbaijan imported more than 36,300 tons of fuel for jet engines from Turkmenistan last year worth over $39.2 million, which is 4.2 times more than in the same period of 2021.
At the same time, Azerbaijan imported 20,146 tons of gas oil from Turkmenistan, totaling more than $10.9 million in the first 7 months of this year.
Meanwhile, the volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan from January through July 2023 increased 3.6 times compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, reaching $568.05 million compared to the previous $156.93 million.
