BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 31. The Shahid Salimi (Neka) Thermal Power Plant in Iran’s northern Mazandaran Province generated 5.5 billion kilowatts of electricity in the first seven months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through October 22, 2023), Executive Director of Iran’s Neka Power Generation Management Company Nourollah Adabi said, Trend reports.
According to him, steam units produced about 74 percent of the total electricity in this period, while gas and combined cycle units contributed 26 percent.
