During January-July 2005 the Azerbaijan International Operational Company (AIOC) developing the off-shore block Azeri-Chirag вЂ" Gyuneshli (ACG) extracted from the contract area 6,065 million tons oil of the Azeri Light brand, which is for 2,533 thousand more of the similar period of 2004.
In January вЂ"July 2005 out of the total amount AIOC produced 4,075 million tons on the Chirag oil field and 1,99 million tons from the central part of Azeri. The first oil production from Azeri was started by AIOC on 13 February 2005.
In July, the company produced on ACG (Azeri+Chirag) 1,017 million tons oil, which is for 104,000 tons less of June 2005 and for 693,000 tons more of July 2004. In July 2005, AIOC produced 583,000 tons of oil on Chirag and 434,717 tons on Azeri, AIOC told Trend.
