Import of the Azerbaijan’s gasoline to Georgia the next year will go on. Amendments have been introduced to the law on the gasoline quality standards, under which the new improved standards of gasoline will not be introduced for at least one year, the Union of oil products producers and importers told the Prime News. The document envisaged introduction of new gasoline standards in Georgia, Trend reports.

The Azerbaijan’s gasoline makes up about 70% of all volume of the fuel, used in Georgia.

The Georgian authorities, based on the economic situation in the country, to avoid additional load on the population, took a decision to refrain, for at least one year from enforcing of new gasoline standards.
