The Baku-based Oil Refineries, parts of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) -Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant (former Azerneftyanacag) and Azerneftyag, in 2006, produced 7 mln 450,71 th. tons of oil. It caused increase in oil products versus the corresponding indicator registered in 2005 by 2,3%, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the production of gasoline grew by 15% (the record quantity of gasoline produced over the last 12 years), kerosene вЂ" reduced by 1,3%, diesel fuel вЂ" reduced by 0,3%. In 2006, the growth was achieved in the production of lubricants вЂ" by 95,1% and oil bitumen вЂ" by 26, 2%.
