Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Aliyev / Azeri Drilling Company Limited Joint Venture announced an inquiry on quotations of services required for drilling gas wells with the depth of 2,500-4,000m on the Guneshli field with the base №11 and №13.
These services include inclined drilling, cementing, drilling mixture, carotage, and commissioning of protective wells. Deadline for documents should be submitted by 2 July 2007.
Azeri Drilling Company JV was founded by SOCAR (35%), British Firstdrill Ltd (30%) and Target Petroleum (35%) companies. The company is involved in drilling oil and gas wells (including horizontal and special drilling), cementing and consolidation of wells, assimilation, overall and underground repair, geophysical research, and perforation.
The key task of JV is to carry out drilling work on '8 Mart' and Bulla Daniz fields with the advanced jackets. It is planned to drill approximately eight wells with the depth of 6,500m.
