Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / In January to June 2007, 75,620 tons of bitumen were produced in Azerbaijan, an increase of 12.9% or 8,620 tons from forecasts, a source at the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) stated
Bitumen production during the same period last year totaled 58,450 tons, or 17,170 tons less or 29.4% less from indicators of this year.
A total of 161,940 tons of bitumen was produced in 2006. The figure in 2005 equaled 128,340 tons.
