Arynova / The program to expand the carrying capacity of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline up to 1.2mln barrel of oil per 24 hours is under completion, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), Rovnag Abdullayev reported while visiting Kazakhstan within the framework of the Azerbaijani President's visit to the country. According to Abdullayev, there is a program to enable the carrying capacity to increase up to 1.8mln barrels of oil per 24 hours.
ВР Azerbaijan, the operator of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, examined the possibility of expanding the carrying capacity from the projected 1mln barrels of oil per 24hours to 1.2mln barrels at the expense of chemical substances.
