Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Astara electric power station, one of the pivotal energy facilities of Azerbaijan's south region, produced 246mln KW/hour within the first seven months of 2007, more than the forecasted 209mln KW, according to Azerenerji JSC, the owner of that station.
The volume of produced energy increased by 113,5mln KW/hour as compared to the same period of 2006. A total of the energy produced at the station comprises some 560mln KW/hour.
Eight grams less than the forecasted conventional fuel were used for the production of 1 KW/hour of electricity. As a result, some 2,000t of conventional fuel was saved during the seven months.
