The weighted average US dollar rate at the afternoon session of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on May 16, 2019, amounted to 378.94 tenge, Trend reports referring to the Exchange data.
KASE states that at the afternoon trading session, the minimum rate was at the level of 378.50 tenge per dollar, the maximum – 379.1 tenge, and the closing rate was 378.65 tenge per dollar.
The volume of trading in US dollar amounted to over $57.319 million, and 177 currency transactions were made.
In the exchange offices of Nur-Sultan (former Astana) and Almaty, the maximum selling rate of the American currency is 381 tenge and 381.5 tenge respectively.
Weighted average rate of the US currency based on both the morning and afternoon sessions was set at the level of 378.94 tenge per one US dollar.
