Iran being blacklisted by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) will not affect the country's rating in World Bank's Doing Business report because WB assesses countries via its own metrics," said head of Iranian National Center for Improving and Monitoring Business, Ali Firouzi, Trend reports via ILNA.
"The center has identified 60 measures that should be implemented by Iran to increase country's position in "Doing Business" report by 100 positions, all these measures are possible to be applied," he said.
"If we can provide real data from Iran's economy to the World Bank, the country's rank would certainly improve from the current state," he added.
The global anti-money laundering watchdog has placed Iran on its blacklist after it failed to comply with international anti-terrorism financing norms.
