The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) surpassed $6.4 billion as of June 1, 2020, Trend reports citing the CBA statistics.
Since the beginning of 2020, the CBA's foreign exchange reserves have grown by 2.45 percent, from $6.2 billion to $6.4 billion.
The bank’s foreign exchange reserves increased from $5.7 billion to $6.4 billion or by 9.25 percent in the first five months of 2020, compared to the same months of 2019.
The CBA's foreign exchange reserves increased by $12 million during May.
At the beginning of June, the money supply in manat amounted to 10.9 billion manat ($6.4 million), which is 10.14 percent less compared to the end of 2019.
On an annualized basis, the money supply growth stood at 7.4 percent.
